Eden Vets Referrals – Ophthalmology Service
Ophthalmology Service
Eden Veterinary Referrals provides a comprehensive Ophthalmology Service, delivering expert care for pets with eye conditions and injuries.
Just like humans, pets can develop ocular disease that requires specialist attention. Our service is designed to support referring veterinary surgeons with diagnosis, treatment planning, and ongoing management of eye conditions, ensuring patients maintain optimal vision and ocular health.
Our team manages a wide range of conditions including cataracts, glaucoma, eyelid disorders, and corneal or surface problems. Each treatment plan is tailored to the individual patient, taking into account their specific needs and overall health.
Ophthalmology Service offers
- Comprehensive ocular assessment: Full ophthalmic examinations for dogs, cats, and other small animals.
- Medical and surgical management: Treatment of cataracts, glaucoma, eyelid disorders, corneal disease, and surface ocular conditions.
- Advanced diagnostic tools: Slit lamp biomicroscopy, tonometry, fundic imaging, and surgical microscopes for precise assessment and interventions.
- Post-operative and ongoing care: Nursing and monitoring support, as well as guidance for referring veterinary surgeons.
- Collaboration with referring vets: Clear communication, timely updates, and shared decision-making throughout treatment.
